IP Logged | We are from Western Australia and the family and I plan to visit the USA end of this year and I thought it would be nice to spend a week in Florida - probably Tampa, Miami or Key West. Or something like that. We're interested in chartering a vessel for 2~3 days and do some cruising. Could be a big centre console for day trips or a sedan bridge for overnights. Would anyone like to recommend a boat charterer that is reasonable, has good craft and knows their stuff and what areas to cruise? |

IP Logged | I was looking to go myself. When I do go, I will go South West FL, but not the Keys. It is my understanding that the Keys are so protected that boating there can be a pain, since you can run afoul of the law so easily. Also, if you are going to Power Charter, I was unable to find anythign but 4 boats in the Keys, and those were very pricey.
Miami does not hold appeal for me, so I can not comment on that. |
