Has any one modified the couch on a 490? Ours has a hide-a-bed on one half but on the other have the cushion has been sewn down. Underneath this cushion would be a great storage area like they did on the 4788....any thoughts, pictures...thanks

Mike; I've had the same thought. On our 2007, the entire unit along the back wall is loose and could probably be taken to a furniture shop where a true craftsman works and easily convert it so the underneath area could be used for storage. I have found a local guy who will do it, but I have to bring the thing to him, it's been low on the list of "gotta' do's".

Mike - on my to do list as well. The one thing I really miss from our previous 3288, and 3788 are those large storage areas for tool boxes, tackle boxes, and other bulky items. Hopefully someone will chime in that has done it and will have pictures. Ted
