We are going on a Bahamas boating fling Thursday. Will the 459 have enough water at the north end of the waterway? Thanks

Went through the waterway 2 years ago on a 411. You will probably have enough water at high tide, but be sure to ask the locals before going. It is skinny, but "doable". We just idled through the whole way. The "skinny" section is just as you enter the sound for about a 1000 yard stretch going through the channel markers. Otherwise there is plenty of water as you cross through the rest of the cut. Good luck.

Thanks Keith. That is what I heard. The guy from Bahamas Tourism said they had dredged the north entrance. We will be leaving Port Lucaya Friday morning heading thru the waterway and then on to Treasure Cay. Our first trip to the Abacos. We will also visit Boat Harbor, Green Turtle Cay, and Old Bahama Bay.

You'll love it. Have a great trip. Be sure to stop at Great Guana Cay and hit the beach bar, Nipper's. You won't regret it!
